American Kennel Club Orthopedic Crate Pet Bed, 30 by 22-Inch, Brown

Great bed
My older dog needs a washable supportive bed, this is perfect. It offers support, but has removable washable cover as well.
Smaller than advertised!!
overall I like this bed and I think my dogs will too (havent put it down for them yet) but the bed is NOT the size they advertise!! My bed labeled as a 30x22x3 is actually 28x21x3. I quite honestly am a little upset that the bed is smaller than I expected!!
My dog likes it
I like it....my dog likes it, what more can I say? Good product, fair price, I would purchase item again if I needed another.

Petstages Flashing Firefly Play Mat for Cats

Doesn't do what it says
I tried to give it zero stars...but my review would not pubish. this product just doesn't do it. I can make it work but not a cat !. You have to know exactly where to pound to make the lights work...they only start if you hit the battery box. so the poor cat just gets interested, the lights turn off...the cat is batting & batting away at the mat and nothing happens. the lights stay off. the cat walks away. Boo Hoo. It's a waste of money. I hope I can get a refund !
Takes a lot to start the flashing
This is a nicely made and likely very durable product that does what it claims. Although it "works" it takes a bit of effort, even pounding, for a human to get it started. The much lighter efforts of a cat seldom set it off, so its use is limited. If a more sensitive motion/touch sensor were used it would be much, much better.

I'm not rating this on my own cat's low interest, since lights don't "do" much for her, only da bird actually gets her playing. I got this mainly because I plan on shortly adopting a kitten soon.
Cat and caretaker approved!
My cats love the Flashing Firefly Play Mat, mostly to lay on. One goes after the flashing lights occasionally, but mostly he loves running and jumping on it and "riding" as it slides across the floor. I don't know why more cat toys aren't the nylon-type fabric--easy to clean.

Paradise Toys Vibrant Cluster, 6-Inch W by 15-Inch L

Goffin pleaser
Kilo, a goffin cockatoo, picks this toy as one of his ultimate favorites. He especially loves the dangling rings. He likes to untwist them and pull them apart. I find little pieces of it all over his area... he goes to the floor and retrieves them to chew on them more, the gift that keeps on giving ;-) The twine balls are always the last to go, he usually leaves a couple untouched, but I reuse them to make other toys. My only wish is that there were more little rings on each of these toys so his joy could last longer! I buy this toy at least once a month and totally recommend it.
My Cockatiels love this toy!
So glad to find this item on Amazon since the price was better than on some other sites. This toy lasts a long time and provides my birds with healthy activity. One of my birds even naps on top of the cluster ball!
a fun toy for my African grey parrots
I hang one of these on the manzanita tree every month and my parrots fight over it. It lasts a fairly long time since the balls and "chain" are made of wicker.

PetSafe Squeeze Meeze Latex Dog Toy, Octopus

got this same exact dragon in Jr version... dog loved it, but destroyed in 2 days.
I have a 7 month old schnoodle. He's only 10 lbs but while he's been teething he's been capable of destroying everything! He was initially very careful with this dragon. He would creep up to it and lick its tongue.. then run away when we squeezed it and the tongue flipped out.. after some introduction, he was all over this thing. Absolutely loved it. 1 day later we looked at the poor dragon and his tongue was missing! and one of his toes were gone too... :( I thought it would be more durable then it was.. I'm sure our puppy ended up eating these missing rubber parts despite our careful supervision. Also, we were concerned about the make/ coloring of the dragon. This was made in China? is there a possibility of lead in the coloring? (flashback; all the toy recalls in china).. Our puppy never got sick or anything, just our paranoid thoughts. anyway, though our puppy loved it, this is why I gave it only 3 stars.
My pooch loved it!
My little French bulldog can be picky about toys and hard on them. He loved this dragon and the latex, although soft enough for him to chew, is tough enough that he hasn't been able to tear the tongue or the wings off the dragon. With most pet toys he has already destroyed them before they are a few days old. And the squeak effect coupled with the recoiling tongue and tail drive him crazy. He loves this toy!
Excellent Choice
Tough, and durable. Terriers can destroy anything, but this dragon keeps hanging around. Has outlasted many, many latex chew toys. An excellent value. Dog's favorite toy.

Resco Chrome Original Dog Nail Trimmer, Small and Medium

What professionals use
My Resco nail trimmer still works well after 20 years; however, it needed replacing after it, along with much of my grooming equipment, rusted - must have been the way I was storing it. The old nail trimmer was for my personal use, so it was used perhaps once a month on a couple of dogs. As a former professional dog groomer who worked in animal hospitals, I know that even if groomers and veterinarians use other nail clippers, they also have Resco trimmers. However, I only knew one person who could change the blades. Everyone else purchased new trimmers when the blade became dull.

The Resco trimmer received in this purchase was blue with black rubber handles, unexpected, as I didn't know Resco produced anything other than the chrome model. No extra blades were included. This new trimmer takes a little less effort to use than my old chrome one. Perhaps technology has improved in the last couple of decades.

I use Resco trimmers because they allow me to see where I'm...
Second Time Purchase
Always had a Resco nail trimmer for my dogs and somehow, during a move, lost it. Purchased a replacement and am very happy again.
Tried other trimmers, but this one is a classic and works the best for my dog's nails.
Requires the Skill of a Swiss Watchmaker
Sure, this nail trimmer slices through dog nails like butter--when the blade is sharp. But herein lies the problem: changing the blade requires the skill and patience of a Swiss watchmaker.

This nail trimmer disappointed me in three ways. First, it was inoperable when I first opened the package. The blade was jammed into the back of the handle, and I spent about an hour prying out the jammed blade and aligning it properly. Secondly, my trimmer was missing the black rubbery grips that the photo illustrates. Instead, mine is just chrome--shiny, but slippery, which doesn't make trimming the nails of a squirming dog any easier. Third, upon opening the package, the dark metal loop, or "guillotine" as they say in the "biz" appeared to be developing rust spots. It also appeared bent. How is the sharp blade supposed to slide against this curved piece of metal? Buyers should also beware that they must buy replacement blades as well as lubricating oil if they expect to use it more...

Farm Innovators Drain Plug De-Icer For Rubbermaid? Stock Tanks Model DPH-15, 1,500-Watt

Good quality product
Confusingly this unit shipped with a flyer from the manufacturer offering to sell me a thermal cube to turn the unit on at 40 degrees and below, but this unit already does that.
It is a perfect fit for our Rubbermaid stock tank, unlike the 'universal' unit we replaced.
The element is kept away from our inquisitive horses with no risk of it being pulled from the tank.

When installed, you lose the ability to use a drain valve to empty the tank. We bought a replacement drain valve STOCK TANK DRAIN PLUG - Gray and drilled a hole on the other side of the tank so we can still easily empty the tank.
It works but costs a lot of $$$$$$$$$$$
I bought this unit as a way to heat my 100 gallon water tank for my horses. It works really well in my rubber-maid tank, no leaks or anything. The water temperature is cool to touch, not warm as other people have described but then I have a 100 gallon tank. However, for anyone that is concerned about their electric bill, take it from me, it will double it. I did not realize this. I will have to look for another solution. I wish I had researched this first. A friend told me that using this 1,500-watt device is like having 15 100 watt light bulbs on 24 hours a day. Enough said.
Works as designed
I was worried about the leaking around the connection that I had read but with the proper tools was able to tighten it right the first time. No problem with water being too warm, keeps it cool. Electricity usage appears minimal although I am only using it at night right now and our New England winter has been mild so far. Design keeps it away from my curious horses. Only complaint is the short cord.
