Hagen Habitrail Cristal Hamster Habitat

GREAT home for my hammy!!!
So I decided to purchase the Cristal without any previous reviews 0_o I trusted the Habitrail brand name from seeing that it has the best reviews by far in comparison so Crittertrail, JM, etc. You can't find the Cristal on Habitrail's Ovo page but it is in Hagen's (the owner of Habitrail) page and it is the newest product they have because the SKU # is the most recent. Anyway, the cage is nice to look at, easy to assemble, seems easy to clean. It comes with a quiet running wheel, a traditional water bottle instead of Habitrail's disputed Ovo water bottle, a food plate and a nice apartment type second floor. So my hammy doesn't go up the ladder very often since he also has a Ovo tower and he loves it up there. What I loved about this cage is that it is a perfect mix of plastic housing and wire caging. I use the top wires to hang toys and the bottom plastic makes it super easy to clean. Overall I LOVE this cage since it has plenty of room for him to play around and to add a couple of...
This one won us over compared to all other cages
I'm obsessive about researching products we buy, and when my son decided to buy a hamster, it was my duty to research the cage. Generally, I found you want the following attributes:
-Good ventilation
-Protection from drafts
-Enough room
-Easy to clean

Reviews on other brands seemed hit or miss, and quite frankly, when I viewed the Crittertrail cages in-store, they seemed flimsy. I bought this one even though it had no reviews, but other Hagen/Habitrail products were well rated. I'm not dissapointed.

This cage is the same as Hagen/Habitrail's Habitrail Classic cage, but with nicer colors. It's hard to see in the product photos, but the construction is such that the white bottom sits below a clear plastic band. The clear plastic extends up the sides as well, and the center is made of wires. The opening in the front of the cage is made from clear plastic. This design...
Hamster Mansion!
I really love this cage, it's a good bit larger than I expected and my dwarf hamster has PLENTY of room to run around, you could probably keep 2 (small) hammys in here no problem.

The snap-on loft is a perfect little nest, though the ladder is a little too smooth and tricky for little hamster feet. I notice mine just crawls up the side of the cage and drops herself into the loft. If she tries to use the ladder she just falls down - but she made a bed in the canopy part and spends a lot of time up there.

The wheel is nice, and the first one my hamster has every actually USED, but I've definitely had quieter wheels. I like the vents down the center of the wheel, poo doesn't get stuck in it!

Food bowl is great and the water bottle is nice but tiny, needs to be filled often - but that's really not too bad as it helps me remember to give her fresh water more frequently.

All in all? I'd definitely recommend it, it's a nice cage with everything you...
