Great stuff.
I'm a groomer and I just wanted to share that this product is by far my favorite powder used daily in removing hair from the ear canals of pets. It works so well that I'm able to do most work with just my fingers, rarely ever needing to pick up the hemostats. I also wanted to note that this product is not intended to relieve pain or 'detangle' at all as it seems some people believe... it's designed simply to absorb moisture and provide a better grip on the hair inside the canal to facilitate plucking. It works on even the oiliest ears! Though it is NOT intended to be used as a means to cure ear infections, keeping ears plucked, cleaned, and dry goes a long way in maintaining ear health, so using a little every day on dogs prone to greasy ears can help keep the moisture at bay.
This DOES help!
We have a drop-earred dog, a GoldenDoodle. From the time he was six months old [he's 2 1/2 now], he'd regularly get yeast infections in one or the other ear. We'd spent a great deal of time and money at the vet. We cleaned his ears regularly and put him on a grain free diet - STILL he'd get yeast infections, sticky, hot ears. Then we tried Ear Powder. A little bit "sprayed" into his ears once a day - and he's not had another yeast infection in over six months - excellent product - recommend to anyone with a drop-earred dog! This is preventative care - not a cure. It works.
Great for the Price
I got this product when I decided to start grooming my dog on my own. I just puff a little powder in his ears and let it soak up the moisture, and then hair plucking is easy!
Also, compared to other products..this one is cheapest if you calculate the $/gram.
