Great Dryer
I got this dryer because I have 2 cocker spaniels. I do my own grooming at home. This dryer does dry the dog fast. It does not get really hot because its not heat that is needed, it is forced air which blows the water from the coat. I was debating if I should get the bigger brother, the bear power dryer II, but I'm glad I picked this instead lot of power for such a little dryer.

I just bought it and love it! It's very powerfull and does great in drying coats. The noise level is much more tolerable than the Metro dryers, IMO and did just as good a job (and as quick).
Great powerful Dryer! Fast and fluffy results...
After burning out 3 other dog dryers in the past 24 months, I opted to spend the money and get something that would last. This dryer is powerful even on the lowest of 2 settings. It dries quickly with cool/warm air and comes with all the attachments you might need for different dog coats. My poodle has very thick curly hair which is difficult to keep the mats out of. Not only do I use this dryer after baths to dry his coat, it also works great to just blow tangles out of dry hair without using a comb or brush. The power provided is sufficient to give you that fluffy look you get when you send your poodle to the salon, something I couldn't get with the hand held pet dryers I used in the past. It's much easier than fighting the tangles and a benefit I wasn't expecting. A bit loud, but not too difficult to get used to, sounds similar to running a vacuum cleaner.
