Buddeez 12-1/2-Gallon Roll-Away Pet Food Dispenser with Scoop

Just what we were looking for
When this container arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the forty-pound bags of dry dog food we buy at Costco fit into it perfectly, coming right up to the top of the bin. It's very convenient to store the food still in the bag, but not have to close the bag with a clip after every serving. Just cut the entire top off the bag and lower it into the container.

As for the container itself, it seems to be very well designed. I was worried about buying one the bins that have four wheels on casters...the casters just seemed like a weak spot to me. This bin is designed like a rollaboard suitcase, with recessed wheels on one end only, perfect for rolling the bin around but allowing it to sit flat on the floor otherwise. The handle is molded right into the container and is very sturdy.

The lid is a clever design, with two hinge points. First, the entire lid is hinged at one end to allow the insertion and removal of the food bags. Second, as you can see in the...

I buy dog kibble in 30 lbs bags. The brand I buy has no ziplock closure, but I was keeping it in the pantry. One fine day, the CAT snuck into the pantry, crawled completely inside the dog food bag and emerged some hours later, at least ten pounds heavier and almost comatose. He is a rescue cat and eats compulsively due to his miserable childhood. Or, at least, that's his excuse and he's sticking by it.

So I wanted something that would seal securely (sorry, Kitty) and was easy to move around. This container is like a Tupperware on steroids; a large flip top flips up and latches closed (tightly!) and there's even a 1 cup scoop, like a measuring cup. That's good as the dog eats 2 cups per serving. It is BPA-free (healthier plastic.) The 30lb bag slips right inside easily and I can wheel it right over to the dog's dish and serve the dog with no spills.

Great buy, exactly what I needed.
It's a convenient way to store your pets food without needing to dump it out.

The quality is much higher than the caster versions you see and the lid has an actual seal that keeps air and bug out.

I love the build in scoop and door on top so you don't have to take the whole top off to get at the food.

It's a few dollars more than the caster models but seems like it's going to last a lot longer and I think the extra features make it very worth the money.
