Great pump
I went through 4. Yes 4 maxi jet 1200's for my aquaC remora skimmer. Each one raddled and sounded awful. This pump, although named similarly, runs whisper quiet. I will be buying another for my other skimmer!
Not sure if maxi jet rebranded or what but these are great pumps.

Includes several different parts for different configurations and usage. I'm using it to run a dual reactor and really like it! I will be buying more.
The "Maxi Jet" version is made elsewhere to lesser standards
When the "Maxi Jet" branding went away from the product that made them famous opting instead to pay less for a less quality product Cobalt aquatics picked up the rights to sell the original under the MJXXX moniker. Thus, this is the "original" maxijet, just sold by a different compnay. The new maxijets are made to lesser standards, thus why everyone has issues with noise and rattling.
