Dog Lifting Aid - Mobility Harness - Large Size

Very thankful I ordered this
My dog has been losing muscle mass and has a difficult time getting up from a laying position and holding herself up while doing her "business". With a broken rib, I've been unable to help her up and down stairs and couldn't hold her up effectively to keep her from soiling herself. This harness has been a god send!

It fit perfectly at first and could be worn constantly. She seems to be completely comfortable in it. It does not interfere with urination nor defecation, although now that she has lost more weight, the harness shifts and she soils it periodically. Each piece can easily be removed for cleaning, however. The leg straps and belly strap are each independently hooked to the main body piece and have quick-release clips. For a male dog, the belly strap may interfere with urination but the design allows for quick movement of the strap to prevent soiling.

The shoulder strap really does allow me to bear the full weight of the dog without discomfort to...
Good harness for large dogs
Our elderly dog weighs about 65 pounds. Sometimes, she has mobility problems - particularly if her back legs are stiff, and she is too heavy for me to lift. We purchased this harness so that we could get her in and out of the car, as she no longer jumps into the back seat. This two-part harness (a front harness and a back harness, connected with straps) is very helpful in assisting us with lifting our dog. It can also be used for walking assistance. The harness takes some time to fit to your dog's body, and for some reason, I kept trying to put the back harness on her front legs -- but your patience will be rewarded. The only downside for a female dog - a female will not be able to pee easily with the back harness on, so if you want to use the harness for walking assistance, you may have to unhook the back harness at appropriate times or simply use the front harness.
Perfect
Our dog was a very big boy! This helped, totally, extend his life and allow us to have him a little bit longer. He was over 100 lbs, not fat, just big and this allowed him to walk until he was ready to move on.
