Excellent Gate!
We love this gate. Very easy to install, very safe and secure, and love the fact that it closes by itself. You do have to let it swing back so it latches closed which causes it to slam shut or you can guide it slowly by hand and latch it quietly. Wish the price was a little cheaper, seeing we had to get extensions for both gates but worth the price for peace of mind. Also wish they did a better job explaining what size would be best. Perhaps, a calculator on their site where you can put in what your measurements are and they recommend the right fit. We came way too close on one of the gates because they don't take into account the space needed for the additional screw on pieces. Should have probably gotten a smaller extension but it worked. Anyhoo, just my input. Be sure to measure several times.
Works as intended, but not practical for our needs
Let me start by saying this is a fine gate and works as described. However, it doesn't really work well for the way our family needs to use it.

We installed the gate in a doorway between our kitchen and living room. While the auto-close feature seemed like a good idea, it ended up being a real hassle for us because during times when we want the gate to stay open (like after baby has gone to bed.) We have to use something to prop it open so we don't have to keep stopping to open it ourselves.
It would be great if there was a locking feature when the gate is open at 90 degrees or something.

Another thing that I don't like is that there is a bottom part to the gate frame that sits on the floor. I tripped over that thing for 2 days before finally getting used to it. We have another gate installed at the top of our steps that has no frame and I wish I had bought a gate like that again. I have to warn guests to be careful of that bottom part of the frame so...
Easy, durable, simple to use...happy with this gate!
Love this gate. Love the swing close feature, as I'm always forgetting to close the other (annoying) gate that I own (KidCo). This gate feels substantial, and it's easy to assemble and easy to use. Very happy with this purchase, and just returned to purchase another for the basement. Highly recommend!
