It might actually help!
This was the one supplement that actually seemed to help my dog deal with his arthritis. He was noticeably more sore when I took him off it and noticeably better when I started him back on on it. It seems to help much more than the glucosamine chondroitin supplements that I had tried previously to duralactin.
Great alternative to drugs
It is so great for my aging best friend, Cotton, of 17 years. That combined with acupuncture, keeps her walking without pain, and arthritis at bay.
This has turned my 15 yr. old dog's life around for the better!
My 15 year old dog had been on Rimadyl for over a year with very little positive results in her stiffening arthritis in her back legs. She actually had become less mobile,falling down instead of easing herself into a laying down position, stumbling & falling going up and down the stairs on her way outside. She would only get up when necessary to eat,drink or go to the bathroom.
Her stools were loose and very often she did not make it outside. She was starting to vomit occasionally & I thought it was because she was drinking a lot of water. Her sleep had become restless with panting and whining at times and I was starting to think I was going to have to make a decision on putting her to sleep, but instead I researched other options that may of helped her.
In my quest to try to make her life longer and better, I found that I did not want her to be on Rimadyl anymore...I wish I did my own research on this drug last year.
