New fabric vs. Old fabric
We loved the old Cat Play Cubes. They were blue with red trim & red with blue trim. The old ones were made out of ripstop nylon and lasted for years. The new ones (Kitty Play Cubes) are cheap imitations of the former. The new ones are made out of recycled polypropylene -- that's the stuff the new recycled plastic grocery bags are made out of. (That's the kind that last from the checkout to 2/3 of the way to your car in the parking lot!) So buyer beware! The new ones come in purple, red, or green! If you can find the old ripstop nylon ones, scarf them up immediately! The new ones aren't worth...anything!

I got two of these for my two kitties, both declawed. Before the day was out there was a big hole ripped in the cheap sides of one of them. They thought it was great fun to climb thru that hole as well as the others. We had nylon ones before that that lasted at least three years. Total waste of money.
MY CATS LOVE THEM
All four of my cats love these things and "hide" in there all the time.
My sister's cats love them too.
Eventually they rip them to shreds and I replace them. They are cheaper at Wal-Mart.
