Better than a regular doormat
After watching our dog leave muddy footprints across the dark hardwood floors every time it rained, I had to try something! The Soggy Doggy Doormat has cut down on the mess considerably without having to wipe the dogs feet with a rag also. All we do is make the dog sit on the mat for a few seconds after coming in the door and her feet are much drier and cleaner just by briefly wiping on this mat. It's not a 100% solution, but I would say it has helped by at least 80%. I wish the mat came in other colors so it could blend into my decor better, but I simply laid it over an existing mat and can pull it up & wash as needed.
Doggy door barrier
I keep this doormat immediately inside the doggy door. Each of my three dogs must cross it when coming inside. This mat grabs the water, dust, mud, or snow before it gets to my carpet.

I absolutely love this doormat. We actually have two of them, and they do exactly what they're supposed to. They do a great job of trapping the wetness from our dogs' feet when they come in from outside, which minimizes what would ordinarily end up on our kitchen floor. This doormat also traps leaves and dirt from the yard. I would highly recommend this doormat.
